We are seeking part time farm help for the 2022 season. We are a small, family-run, certified organic vegetable and cut flower farm in Topsham, VT. Join our team this summer for a rewarding experience growing food and blooms for our community! 

Harvest/Wash Pack Assistant: 

Position runs from May 3 through the end of September

Hours:

-Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

7:30am-4:30pm with a one hour lunch break 

**potential for additional hours on Saturdays at the Norwich farmers market as a childcare assistant from from 7am-2:30pm 

Duties will include:

-vegetable harvest for CSA and farmers’ market 

-vegetable washing and packing

-weeding (hoeing and hand-weeding) 

-transplanting of vegetable and flower starts 

-assistance with on farm projects

-occasional cut flower harvest 

Applicants should be:

-comfortable working in all weather conditions

-able to carry at least 50lbs

-have a passion for local food systems and organic agriculture

-consistency and attention to detail 

-have consistent transportation 

Compensation: $15/hr with potential for increase mid-season plus LOTS of vegetables!

Norwich Farmers’ Market Childcare Assistant: 

Position runs from May 14th – October 8th 

Hours: 

  -Saturdays from 8am-1pm at the Norwich Farmers market 

Duties include: 

-caring for 2 children (a one year old and a three year old) while mom sells vegetables 

-taking children on walks to the community gardens/dresden ball fields near by 

-help with set-up and take down of market stand

Applicants should:

-have experience babysitting or nannying young children

-be comfortable changing diapers (for the 1 yo) 

-be comfortable with and prepared for all weather conditions 

-be able to meet us at the Norwich Farmers’ market (281 Route 5 South, Norwich, VT)

-have consistent access to transportation 

-Bonus if applicant has interest in local food systems and enjoys attending the farmers’ market! 

Compensation: $17/hr plus $20 weekly stipend for food and snacks from the farmers’ market
