Heritage Turkeys

Our heritage turkeys are pasture raised and free to roam! We raise Royal Palm and Bourbon Red heritage birds chosen for their superior flavor and quality of life. Standard broad breasted turkeys are bred to produce as much breast meat as possible, resulting in a bird which cannot naturally procreate and requires only three months to reach harvest weight. Our heritage birds are raised for six months minimum and enjoy the benefits of foraging for insects, and moving around freely on pastured land.  As the price of organic grain is cost prohibitive, our turkeys are feed with conventional grain, but we can assure you they are well cared for, healthy birds.
